West Bow, or Westbow on MLS

Every suite is a corner suite at this high-quality built-as-a-condo concrete tower completed by the Nu-West Group in 1980. The 13 floors house 47 spacious suites with only four suites per floor, 44 of them being either 1,060 or 1,063 square feet. Some of these are one-bedroom layouts, so with that floor area they offer wide-open spaces. The top floor is divided into only three suites, two of which offer 1,345 square feet and the largest sprawling across 1,543 square feet and three faces of the building, plus a second balcony; 'nice!

All balconies are triangular and not very large, but that maximizes the interior space. Suite layouts feature 45-degree angles to the exterior walls, for something different from standard rectangular suites. A West Bow Condos suite's triangular second bedroom or den is unusual and a conversation starter!

The parking is all common property with upper-floor suites assigned the indoor heated stalls and lower-down suites the surface stalls atop the garage, with some of those tucked under the building at the back. The building has two elevators, a storage lockers area and an attractive lobby.

Exterior windows and doors are common property for maintenance and eventual replacement. Owners raised the funds and replaced all the windows in 2008/9--a nice upgrade--but kept the original patio slider door sets. At 2011 recent improvements include new waterproofing for the exterior parking deck atop the garage, upgraded security, lighting and video monitoring, plus new landscaping.  I have the West Bow Condominium Plan on file.
