Eight Twelve on Fifteenth Avenue

Built in 1968 and condo converted in 2006, these 16 small suites in a concrete walk-up building were remodelled and finished to a slick modern standard. All suites received new hardwood floors, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, platinum-look cabinetry with steel handles, under-cabinet lighting and sliding doors to save space.

Laundry hookups were installed and all-in-one laundry machines included as part of the conversion package. These "boutique condos" commanded top dollar, as at conversion a partly-below-grade studio suite of only 324 square feet asked $185,000, while a top-floor one-bedroom suite of 485 square feet asked $234,900. Hey, maybe in a couple of years these prices will seem like a bargain!

The parking here is surface assigned stalls around back, though there's not enough for every suite. Exterior windows and doors are common property.
