This 16-storey building was known as Century Tower when it was a rental building since construction in 1969, most recently run by Boardwalk Rental Communities (aka Boardwalk Equities), and which in May of 2007 converted it to upgraded condominium homes. 'Far as I know this was Boardwalk's first foray into conversion. With the number of rental buildings Boardwalk bought up across Canada in the past decade, it has a terrific supply of properties to sell off suite by suite when the time is right. 'Wish I owned stock!

There are 90 suites here, including 31 one-bedroom homes, 57 two-bedroom homes and a single penthouse three-bedroom, two-bathroom, suite of 1,565 square feet plus a large roof-top deck.

Parking is all outdoor common property, surveyed on the condo plan, so leases could be drawn up to give permanence to the parking assignments. Thirty of those stalls are carport style, as they're tucked under an at-grade parking platform for another 30 cars that have access off the alley.

One-bedroom suites are a roomy 670 or so square feet, plus one exception that's only 596. Two-bedroom suites are in the range of 860 square feet. There are a total of nine floor plans in the building. Renovations were to a high standard with all new exterior windows and doors, laminate hardwood flooring, ceramic tile and carpeted floors, granite countertops, vessel sinks, maple doors and Maytag appliances including an all-in-one laundry machine. The kitchen range hood of every suite is vented to the outside, which the rental building never had. The building's former basement laundry room has been renovated to provide storage lockers.

Exterior windows and doors here are common property. I have some suite floor plans and the Condo Plan on file.
