Calla by Qualex-Landmark

http://callaliving.com

Both pre-sales and excavation for construction of Calla Condominiums began late in 2011. Qualex-Landmark will build 168 suites in a 12-storey building that is narrow at the west end and wider as it runs east, giving more than half the suites views over historic Lougheed House and its parkland. Qualex, of course, is already well known for its many condominium projects in Calgary including Stella, Luna and Nova. This Fourteenth-Avenue site was once the location of a historic Christian Science church that was destroyed by fire.

Calla Condominiums floor plans for one and two-bedroom suites will be on the small side to keep prices reasonable. There will be four two-bedroom two-level suites facing onto the sidewalk on the building's west end. Near the lobby and facing onto the garden at the back will be a gym, a yoga room and change rooms. Of course all parking is indoors, below the building. There will be green roofing, but these will be true roofs, not accessable gardens.

Calla's exterior windows and doors will be common property for maintenance and eventual replacement (I should live so long!). The condominium plan will be available after the building's completion, probably late in 2013. I keep on file all original floor plans and marketing materials.
