Avenue

Constructed as a rental building in 1968, this six-storey concrete building of 32 suites was condo converted in 2000 to become Avenue, although renovations and sales from builder "Metropolitan" took place in 2003. The renovations really made over the building, including all new windows and doors and exterior painting that modernized its look. Parking here is all outdoors assigned on the common property although some cars are tucked under the building, which has no ground-floor suites, but only the lobby, elevator, and stairwells.

Above the lobby and parking are five floors of very cute suites including one-bedroom homes of 534 to 618 square feet, and two-bedroom suites of about 836 square feet. There are three larger suites, one on the second floor and two on the sixth, that are two-bedroom homes of 1,276 square feet. Suites all received the maple-cabinet treatment, many with stainless-steel or black appliances, laundry hookups plus carpet and tile flooring. There are storage lockers, but the building has no basement.

Exterior windows and doors at Avenue Condos are common property. Residency is AGE RESTRICTED to those 21 years of age and older. I have the Condo Plan on file.
